16th National Latina Symposium

The only national conference focusing on the achievements of Latinas in the Armed Services brings together some of the most accomplished Latina and women leaders in our country. The highlight of the conference is the Awards Luncheon when we present the Distinguished Military Service Awards recognizing leadership, accomplishment, and commitment of our Latinas in the armed services. This year we are proud to also recognize the Corporate Veteran ERG of the Year and the Veteran of the Year. We are honored to have the opportunity to profile and highlight to our younger audience and the country the role models who are most needed in our communities. The unique workshops offered feature some of the most prominent Latina and military leaders in our nation. The Distinguished Military Service Awards will recognize 12 women in the military and from the Department of Defense civilian workforce, and one outstanding cadet from each of the military academies who through their exemplary service have made our country safer and have enhanced the role of Latinas in their respective organizations.
