Dear ANSO Members,
Cuetlaxochitl, the vibrant poinsettia, illuminates December with its colors. As ANSO Familia, let’s support and connect, embracing our authentic colors. Be a guiding light like Cuetlaxochitl, showing care through the beauty of your true self.
As a family, let’s be there for one another, projecting bright colors in life’s cold moments. Create meaningful memories, mentor the young, and learn from elders during this festive season. Holidays bring joy, delicious dishes, music, and connections. By being present for each other, we build spaces of understanding, healing, and connection.
At the 2023 Western Region Symposium, our new President elect, LtCol Jose Montalvan, emphasized the importance of connection. Our association’s energy comes from active members building familia and ANSO. As the year ends, the Board of Directors and ANSO leadership have a lot of initiatives in the works building from our last symposium.
We look forward to returning in January with a renewed energy to further our mission. Wishing you a joyous holiday season!
